Nectar is a memory foam mattress with an extra-thick comfort layer that feels plush – at a (in my opinion) very reasonable price.

The mattress consists of the following:
Top layer / cover (comfort & cooling) – 1″ of gel memory foam (I think it’s 1″ before it’s quilted, after quilted it’s compacted into the cover). The top layer is actually quilted within the cover and designed to provide the cooling and initial comfort for the sleeper. As a gel memory foam, the gel works to pull heat away from the sleeper, while the memory foam offers a pressure-relieving, softer top layer. This layer has a density of 4.0 PCF (pounds per cubic foot).

Second layer (contour) – 3″ of memory foam. Placed in the middle of the mattress, this layer offers both the support and contour for the sleeper. Once sleepers sink through the top layer, they will interact with this layer, which will conform to their body and provide support to the sleeper before they hit the denser base layer. The middle layer also provides a degree of comfort for the sleeper. This layer has a density of 3.5 PCF.

Third layer (support) – 1.75″ of memory foam. By placing a another layer of memory foam near the bottom of the mattress, sleepers are able to receive better pressure relief and support before interacting with the more dense base foam.

Bottom layer (support & foundation) – 5.25″ of high-density support foam. The bottom layer of this mattress acts as the foundational base for the mattress as a whole. Additionally, it will provide support and deep compression support for sleepers. This layer has a density of 2.2 PCF.
