Everything works well and the graphics are quite good. Youtube videos play without issues: cpu/gpu goes up over 70% usage on full screen with 4K videos. Impressed for such a simple cpu/gpu processor combo. CPU perfect for school, writing documents and browing Internet. CPU hits 100% easily on multi tasks, but overall response does not seem affected. You have to insert the micro SD card upside down, and push 1/4 inch in until the click. Works well. Wifi 11ac. With Win 11 battery life optimizer, battery only charge to 80%. I suspect there is a way to get 100%. The charger barely keeps up charging. If you keep running cpu intensive processes, the battery actually discharge slowly. 4 hrs to 80% charge, 2 hours work time on battery. Probably longer if you are just reading or light tasks. Is running Windows Home edition, BIOS American Megatrends Inc. (AMI) . When busy, processor reach 2.5GHz, as advertised. Took a few hours for all the Windows upgrades to catch up on first setup. I hope Windows 11 will keep the various drivers current as there are no included tool (that I found) to update BIOS, video/sound card/wifi drivers, etc. Possibly third party software can help with that. So far, I find everything is as advertized. Not surprised by the battery duration.
Part 2: For HDMI, its a mini HDMI port. I bought a Poyiccot 8k hdmi-mini male to hdmi female adapter, as all my cables are regular HDMI. HDMI output to my TV was as expected, great colors. For the battery, from what I am reading, these new build-in battery management systems try to extended your battery life based on algorithms and use. It is intentional to send power to the cpu first, instead of the battery. In normal use, the charger consumes 8-19watts, and up to 28W when using laptop and battery is discharged. This now seems normal behavior for the battery system. For drivers, Windows does a good job, or you can install Intel’s Driver & Support Assistant if you prefer their OEM drivers. Using electronic scale, is 3.7 lbs (1.7kg). Very light. Fan is very quiet.
