Our picks are based on hands-on testing for clarity, touch sensitivity, durability, and ease of installation across multiple iPhone models.
Spigen's tempered glass offers reliable 9H hardness and excellent clarity, with an oleophobic coating that resists fingerprints. The installation frame makes alignment easy, though occasional bubbles may require reapplication.
The amFilm OneTouch uses a unique auto-alignment kit that simplifies installation, reducing bubbles and misalignment. It provides good drop protection and maintains touch sensitivity, though the glass is slightly thicker than some competitors.
Belkin's UltraGlass is treated for enhanced strength and scratch resistance, and it includes a professional installation kit for precise placement. It's pricier than most, but the quality and warranty make it a solid choice.
JETech offers a budget-friendly 3-pack of tempered glass protectors that fit the iPhone SE perfectly. They provide basic protection and good clarity, but the oleophobic coating is less effective than premium brands.
OtterBox Alpha Glass is known for its durability and drop protection, and it's backed by a limited lifetime warranty. It's a bit thicker, which may affect case compatibility, but it offers peace of mind.
ZAGG's Glass+ VisionGuard filters blue light and offers strong impact protection, but it may slightly alter screen colors. The installation tray helps with alignment, and the lifetime warranty is a plus.
Supershieldz provides a 3-pack of tempered glass protectors at a very low price, making it a great value. They lack an installation frame, so careful alignment is needed, but they perform well for basic protection.
Tech21's Impact Glass is designed to absorb shock and resist scratches, and it's slim enough to work with most cases. It's on the expensive side and doesn't include an installation frame, but the protection is top-notch.
ESR's screen protector comes with an alignment frame for easy installation and offers good clarity and touch response. The 3-pack is a great value, though the oleophobic coating may wear off over time.
ArmorSuit's MilitaryShield is a film protector that offers self-healing properties and a case-friendly fit. It's not as impact-resistant as tempered glass and can be tricky to install without bubbles, but it's a good option for those who prefer film.
